Your night time skincare routine might just be the most important thing you do all day. If you’re anything like us, you’ve been wearing a full face of makeup all day, you’ve had a sweaty session at the gym and you’ve been touching your face… a lot!
A nightly routine is so important as this is when your skin has time to rest and repair. Lucky for you, we’re breaking down our 5-step night time skincare routine that will ensure your skin is looking and feeling its very best.
Step 1 & 2: Double Cleanse
You may have heard this term recently, but step 1 & 2 is the very important double cleansing. This quite literally means cleansing either twice by the same method or twice by a different method each time.
The first product we start with is our Perfect Cleansing Oil. This is used to gently remove any makeup and dirt you may have gotten on your face throughout the day. Next we follow with our Perfect Foam Cleanser. We absolutely love this cleanser as it feels like it really resets your skin and gets all of the last little bits of makeup and dirt.
Step 2: Hydrating Serum
The next step is hydration! Using our Perfect Hydration Boost Serum, we apply one or two pumps of the serum all over the skin (including your neck & chest!) and gently tap it in to allow for a full absorption. This serum is filled with antioxidants and vitamins that help reduce dark spots, fine limes and wrinkles while keeping your skin really hydrated and pump overnight.
Step 3: Moisturise
Next we go in with our Perfect Rich Facial Cream. There is a day time version but for your night time routine, we always recommend using a thicker cream for ultimate hydration and to reduce inflammation over night.
Step 4: Eye Cream
The final step in our night time skincare routine is of course our, Perfect Hydrating Eye cream. The skin around your eyes is really thin and delicate, so it’s important to always be gentle when applying eye cream. Use your ring finger and gently dab the product around the eye area.
